Memorable win

The last over had its share of thrilling moments. Australia needed 22 and Carey carted a six to give the visitors some hope. Mahedi then lost his grip and bowled a high full toss and it was called a no-ball.

The spinner, though, followed it up with a yorker and gave away only 2 runs off the last three balls to chart Bangladesh's series-clinching 10-run win. What a great moment for Bangladesh!

Huge blow

Marsh completed his fifty and became the first Australian to reach the milestone in this series. Just that Shoriful bagged the prized scalp in the very next over. That is a hammer blow for Australia.

Crucial strikes

Eventually, in an attempt to up the run-rate, McDermott fell. He tried the big slog-sweep against Shakib but could only connect with the thin air. Australia need a tick over nine runs per over. On this pitch, that could be challenging.

Shoriful followed it by dislodging Henriques. Australia losing their way here.

Marsh, McDermott lift AUS

Marsh was dropped by Nurul off Nasum. Australia's best batter on this tour took advantage of it by crunching a four and a six in the next two balls. The way he lofted Nasum over the covers gave a glimpse of his hitting prowess. Ben McDermott too has been busy at the crease.

Wade back in the hut

The track is playing its tricks. Wade attempted the pull off a short ball but was done in by the bounce and could only spoon a catch to short fine leg. Nasum strikes upfront.

Memorable hat-trick!

What drama! What action! In the last over, Ellis picked up a hat-trick on his T20I debut. The first one to do so on his T20I debut. How things can change? Until the last over, the man from Greenacre didn't exactly have the best of days. However, in the final over, he took the scalps of Mahmudullah, Mustafizur and Mahedi to bag a memorable hat-trick. It also helped Australia restrict Bangladesh to 127/9.

Earlier, Mahmdullah had employed the loft, pull and scoop to give the hosts the impetus. Just that Australia hit back in the final over. Can Australia chase down the target? The track is once again on the slower side.
